Carpenter & Cook (Bukit Timah)- Carrot cake ($7) Since my favourite is carrot cake, this is a must order for me. Other than the overly sweet cream layering, I love the the cake on the whole. I must admit it is a little pricey for this small piece; it is at least half the size of that eaten at Prive’s bakery. But, I love the chunks of carrot and its realness that makes me know that there is no suspicion that is is a true blue carrot cake. Would I be back? Yes especially for the beautiful interior design of the cafe.
